Founded in 2024, the Cambridge Girls Human Rights Hub Mini Hub has quickly become a dynamic force for change on campus. Led by an inspiring team, Chloe Lam, Syeda Ali, Sha Rashid, Sarah Misraoui, and Clara Akingbade—the Hub has hosted a powerful lineup of events including a panel on the International Day of the Girl Child, an exclusive fireside chat with global gender equality advocate Lesley Abdela MBE, a creative Open Mic Night during Girls’ Human Rights Month, and an expert-led panel on domestic abuse and the law.
Through bold conversations, creative expression, and legal advocacy, the Cambridge Mini Hub continues to grow its network and impact—proving that student-led action can shape a more just and equal world.

The Girls Human Rights Hub (GHRH) Essex Mini Hub was founded in 2024 by a passionate team of student leaders: Djuna (president), Rose (vice president), Béatrice (Treasurer), Angela (social media manager), Victoire (event manager), and Eden (welfare officer).
Together, they have cultivated a vibrant community committed to girls’ human rights, fostering critical discussions, creativity, and meaningful action across campus.
